Asus Zenfone 6 officially arriving on May 16
Two days ago we reported some journalists at MWC 2019 received magazines which had an advertisement, saying Asus will unveil the Zenfone 6 on May 14. Today the company decided to clear any misunderstanding and posted a teaser on Twitter, revealing another date for the official launch - May 16.
The video goes through all previous five generations of Zenfone flagships from the Zenfone 5 to the Zenfone 5. According to Asus, the revolution is coming and the new Zenfone 6 (not to be confused with the old Zenfone 6) is going to defy the ordinary, whatever that means.
Trying to guess what Asus wanted to say with the teaser, we are likely to see a phone with unusual form factor - either slider or an elevating camera mechanism, given how we have a stage light on the top of the pictured handset.
There are 2,5 months until the arrival of the new flagship, so we hope to see more leaks reveal the handset before the official event, scheduled to take place in Valencia, Spain.
